The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued an Ikea dresser recall. Several different styles of Ikea dressers and chests have reportedly caused the deaths of 6 children and injured to at least 36 more. Shockingly the first death occurred almost 27 years ago.
29 Million Ikea Dresser Recalls
According to the CPSC there are about 29 million recalled Ikea dressers including MALM 3-drawer, 4-drawer, 5-drawer, and three 6-drawer models including other models of children’s and adult chests and dressers. These chests and dressers are unstable if they have not been anchored to the wall and children climbing on the front of them have caused them to topple over causing injury and death.

Televisions, Appliances & Other Furniture Cause Tip Over Injury and Death
